Cost of LPG cylinder to come down by ₹100 from this date: PM Modi.
Today on International Women’s Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a reduction in the price of LPG gas cylinder by ₹ 100.
To mark Women’s Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi personally shared on March 8, 2024, that the BJP government has decided to reduce LPG gas prices by ₹100.
The reduction in prices will significantly ease the financial burden on millions of households across the country, especially benefiting our Nari Shakti, the Prime Minister said.
“In a heartfelt announcement, Shri Modi emphasized our commitment to enhancing the quality of life for families. The reduction in LPG prices is not just about affordability; it is also about supporting the well-being of families and creating a healthy environment. This step reflects our dedication towards empowering women, and promoting their ‘Ease of Living’. The announcement was personally shared by Shri Modi on this reflects our genuine concern for the welfare and happiness of every home.”
LPG Cylinder: Taking a compassionate step, on March 7, 2024, the government launched an encouraging initiative. An extended subsidy of Rs 300 per LPG cylinder will be given to empower economically challenged women through the Ujjwala scheme starting from April 1 of the upcoming financial year. This thoughtful step not only fuels homes but also ignites hope, ensuring a brighter tomorrow for those who need it most.
LPG Cylinder: In a promising move last October, the government generously increased the subsidy on 14.2 kg LPG cylinder, increasing it from ₹200 to ₹300 for up to 12 refills annually. This increased ₹300-per-cylinder subsidy is set to benefit consumers till the end of the current financial year on March 31. The commitment to reduce the burden on households represents thoughtful progress towards supporting the daily lives of citizens.
